Uttar Pradesh | Noida Police say, "On 17.10.2026, the Rabupura Police Station received information that five members of a single family—residing in the village of Nagla Shri Padam—had died. The deceased are: 1. Mahesh (son of Krishna), aged 37; 2. Lalita (wife of Mahesh), aged 35; 3. Laddu (son of Mahesh), aged 11; 4. Mishti (daughter of Mahesh), aged 7; and 5. Sakshat (son of Mahesh), aged 3. Upon receiving the information, local police, senior officials, an ambulance, and a team from the Food Safety Department immediately arrived at the scene. A field unit and a forensic team are conducting a thorough inspection of the site and collecting scientific evidence. The necessary inquest procedures for the bodies are being completed, and the bodies are being sent for post-mortem examinations. Prima facie, the incident appears to be a case of food poisoning. According to local residents and the mother of the deceased, Mahesh, the family members had consumed noodles the previous night. The exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Further legal action will be taken based on the post-mortem reports and the results of other scientific investigations."
